The Annual UK Employee Ownership Awards celebrate businesss that through their structure and culture empower employees to drive performance and share in the reward to the benefit of the individual, the business and the regional economy.  The Awards are managed by the Employee Ownership Association and are sponsored again in 2019 by EOA Trustee member, Baxendale.

By applying for the awards and sharing your successes you are not only helping to raise the profile of your business but also helping to shine a spotlight on the employee ownership sector as a whole.

Employee Owner of the Year

This Award celebrates an EO Star in a business, irrespective of seniority, who champions the EO status both inside and outside of their organisation.  An Employee Owner of the Year brings EO to life and drives engagement throughout a business and supports others to do the same.

Employee Owned Rising Star of the Year

This Award recognises the success of an organisation that has become employee owned no more than three years prior to the end July 2019. It celebrates a business that already, in its early life, has an effective EO culture where its commitment to engaging its workforce is driving a strong financial performance.

Employee Owned Business of the Year

This Award, for well established employee owned businesses, focuses on brilliant performance in the sector.  It recognises the best all round performance of an employee owned company during the year to July 2019.  The business must be able to show direct correlation between their EO Structure and their business performance - with people power at its heart.

Public Service Mutual of the Year

This Award recognises the most impressive group of employees to have spun out of the public sector into an employee-led mutual, a minimum of one year ago; who are showing progress in improving performance within their business, whilst also demonstrating positive and lasting impact on the communities they serve or wider society.
